High Level

To build gadget/device wich can be used be cold plunge enthusiastic for measurement temperature of the watter and air in order to record their watter time condition.

Given statistics will be uploaded into Cloud, were user can see, set given param., graphs etc.

Capabilities

Able to measure:

  • Watter temperature
  • Air temperature
  • Time in watter
  • GPS?

General requirements:

  • Easy to use (just through into watter...)
  • Able to use with single enthusiastics and with groups (single mode, group mode)
  • Long standing battery for single mode - like weeks (measurement once a 5min etc ... )
  • Sync the data with cloud -> through the wifi or Bluetooth
  • In group mode access to the data via whole group (auth via OAuth2 ...)
  • Audio signal - based on configured timer (after 1min, 5min ...)

Build quality:

  • watterprofe :D
  • durrable
  • easy to use (simple buttons, shake gestures...)
  • Should be able to display current temperature?

Web:

  • Gamification - like levels
  • Settings mode:
    • single mode, private

Modes explanations

Single mode - private

Used by single person within own private space. Like "cold plung on backyard" -> the scip device can be there for whole day and user might report current watter and aird temperature, monitor session time, and predict best weather for cold immerse. Mostly connected to WiFi

Single mode - public

Used be single person going into public space to take a bath. Scip device will be put into watter before session, will monitor session time, watter and air temperature. Additionally the GPS from phone might be used and in web page also map will be depicted.

Group mode - private

Private bath and friends are invited to take a bath. Using the same feature as private mode BUT invideted users might access to the stats / dashboard

Group mode - public

The same as single public, but another users might be access the stats and dashboards
